Mark Sweeney BA, Higher Dip Tchg, Dip ESSTN, MEd (Dist)
Mark's expertise is currently directed at working with leaders to develop highly sophisticated people relationship skills. He facilitates workshops, mentors, coaches and guides team and service development.

Mark has an extensive background in training and adult education. His expertise in training course design has seen him design and deliver programmes for a wide range of client groups including the governments of the Cook Islands and Niue Island .

Mark's particular interest in the effective transfer of learning from the training situation into work place practice is grounded in a strong research base in adult learning.

He has studied the relationships between organisational culture and structure and their links to performance. His work in this field is supported by a masters thesis on the subject.

As a strong advocate of active and interactive learning, Mark enjoys an innovative approach to training course design.

Mark is recognised in the industry for his ability to clarify complex inter-relational concepts and present them as highly accessible skill sets that people find easy to personalise and use with confidence in the work place.

Mark demonstrates a unique blend of pragmatism and responsiveness in his work. As a facilitator, groups are guided to work productively to challenge and apply theory to actual work-life situations. As a coach Mark is able to offer clear frameworks that make it easier for people get the professional satisfaction they want from their work.

Mark has lectured for Victoria University . He still occasionally guest lectures at masters level and values his links to current research and thinking.



Chris Rowan BEd, Higher Dip Tchg, Dip.Esstn
Chris has a strong background in adults learning. Her current facilitation of management groups covers areas of personal leadership and development, coaching and team development.

Further to facilitation, Chris has had experience in project managing leadership development programmes. Many of these projects have been complex, evolving and spanning long periods of time. This has required Chris to draw on a depth of experience in working collaboratively with people and building and maintaining highly effective relationships with clients.

Chris has demonstrated a very flexible approach to her work and an understanding and valuing of diversity. Her knowledge of design and delivery of development programmes has been invaluable when working with clients to translate their needs into training initiatives.

Chris's experience and specialism is in adult learning and training. Her expertise in effective learning strategies and processes sees her use many interactive and innovative training techniques. In particular she makes use of coaching and coaching techniques.

Her strength is in building fun and supportive environments within training sessions that enables participants to build capacity for themselves. Her energy and enthusiasm ensures that people are kept highly focused.
